Andrea J. Buchanan, a New York Times bestselling author, is known for her diverse body of work which includes books such as THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING, a finalist for the 2019 PEN/E.O. Wilson Award for Literary Science Writing, the multimedia young adult novel GIFT, and the internationally bestselling THE DARING BOOK FOR GIRLS. Before pursuing a career in writing, Andrea trained as a pianist, earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in piano performance.
