Who is Erik Larsen

Erik Larsen, a native of Bellingham, Washington and Albion, California, began his journey in the world of comic books at a young age. Creating multiple comic books featuring his character, ‘Dragon’, Larsen eventually published a fanzine and began professional work on the comic book Megaton. This led to the introduction of Dragon to the comic-reading masses. After connecting with Marvel’s Editor-in-Chief, Jim Shooter, Larsen co-plotted a story that impressed many editors, leading to more high-profile work in the industry. His career saw him jump around various books, taking on different artistic and writing roles, before eventually finding success with his popular run on Amazing Spider-Man. He later helped found Image Comics and continues to succeed with his creations, becoming the Publisher of Image Comics in 2004.
